The time is coming for our fifth graders to start their education for their first communion. The first class will be Monday, February 15th; this is for the students and their parents. The evening will begin with a pot luck supper and then Dawn Deines-Christensen will teach a class where the students and their parents will make the chalice and paten which the students will receive their first communion from. If you are either one of these students, or one of their parents please mark this date on your calendar, and we look forward to seeing you there!
Mark your calendars for an all grade sledding afternoon. Grades K-12 bring your own sled to the pool hill on Saturday February 13th we will be meeting at 1pm sledding for a couple of hours and finishing up with some cookies and hot cocoa in the pool parking lot. Grades k-2 need to bring a parent or guardian with them. Remember to dress for the weather!
We all had a great time at our Easter Egg hunt last year for kids up to 6th grade, and we look forward to doing this again. The event will be held on April 3rd time to be announced later. We are asking for donations from the congregation for candy to fill the eggs and small prizes to be given out. If you would care to donate anything talk to Pastor Dan. Thank you for your support!
