First English Lutheran Church is known for their thriving Confirmation program!
During the program year, approximately 40 children in grades 6 through 9 gather to learn about the Bible, the Church, and what God has to say. Confirmation classes start on Wednesday nights with a pizza supper from 6-6:30 pm followed by lessons from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Small group lessons are led by adult guides to help kids connect with materials and each other in ways that are relatable to them.
Confirmation is a time to connect, learn, and explore faith!

May 6 - Confirmation Party - last Confirmation
Sunday, May 17 - Confirmation Sunday for 9th Graders
 

February Confirmation Updates--
We are getting back into the swing of Confirmation by focusing on our Lutheran identity this season. Confirmation classes are focusing on justification by faith, grace, the cross and more as we learn together what it means to be Lutheran. We continue to have fun, ask questions together, eat pizza, and be in community.

 couple of schedule highlights for the month of
February:
February 11 – There will be a worship service at 7pm, so Confirmation will likely be done closer to 7:45pm.
February 18 – Ash Wednesday so NO CONFIRMATION
February 25 – Lenten worship services begin on this Wednesday which means soup suppers at 6pm, short confirmation class from 6:30-7pm, worship at
7pm, and Confirmation done by about 7:30pm.
