It has been a great year at First English! We continue to have students join our Wednesday night Confirmation program, our baptism numbers continue to be high, and new folks are participating in worship, all while sustaining the legacies of families that have been engaged here for decades.
Over the next four weeks, members will be sharing stories about what it means to be a part of this community. In these stories, we will hear about the Spirit’s work in relationship, community, and discipleship. The possibilities of what comes next are exciting, and the more we invest in the future of this place, both with our financial gifts and spiritual gifts, the more incredible stories we will create together.
You are invited to help God’s people grow in their relationship with Jesus through the use of the time, talents, and finances God has entrusted to you. Welcome Pastor Alison Bondy!
First English Lutheran Church welcomes Pastor Alison Bondy as our new associate pastor. Previously, she worked at St. Luke Lutheran Church, where she was involved in bible studies, teaching, preaching, visitation, organizing volunteers, writing Sunday School curriculum, leading worship, putting together worship services, and working with the musicians.
